Hope Lutheran Church is all about family, hospitality, and Christian vitality.

Family

Family

At our core, we prioritize the importance of family. Our aim is to empower individuals to fulfill their roles as parents, grandparents, and children to the best of their abilities while simultaneously honoring God in their homes. We place great emphasis on the unity of our family, worshiping together and ensuring that all generations have opportunities to spend time together. All age groups are highly valued, and we are committed to providing ample opportunities to engage and connect with people of all ages.

Welcome

Hospitality

At Hope Lutheran Church, we believe that hospitality means loving strangers. That’s why we prioritize extending God’s love and showing kindness, just like Jesus Christ did, to everyone who comes our way. We warmly welcome anyone who wants to be a part of our Christian family, and we genuinely hope you’ll stop by to get to know us.

Christian Vitality

At Hope Lutheran Church, we believe that God’s Word should guide our daily lives. It’s not just about what we do on Sundays but how we interact with others, use our skills and talents, and manage our time and resources. We encourage all church members to read, study, and apply the teachings of God’s word in their daily lives. After all, it’s the foundation of everything we do! We sincerely HOPE you’ll join us, get to know us, and maybe even become a member. Services are Sundays at 9:30AM. We HOPE to see you there!

Our History

Hope Lutheran Church was born out of a desire by a handful of faithful Christians to have a new family of faith that would stand as a witness to our historic Lutheran faith and practices. God’s guiding spirit brought together this nucleus of believers, that would then plan and lead their first worship service on May 22nd , 2011, with 70 believers present. At the conclusion of this service, it was determined through prayer and acclamation that there was support for the founding of what was soon to be called Hope Lutheran Church. By mid-summer, a Church Constitution and By-Laws had been written and ratified. Hope chose to freely associate with Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC), which is an association of Lutheran Congregations that are Free in Christ; Accountable to one another; Rooted in the Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions; and Working together to fulfill Christ’s Great Commission to go and make disciples of all nations. A Reaffirmation of Faith Service was held on August 28th , with 80 individuals becoming members.

Then began the search and calling of its first pastor, who, on November 1st of that same year, officially began his ministry of Word and Sacrament among the people of Hope. By the summer of 2012, the congregation had purchased a church building they had been renting to serve as our church home.  In 2019, an ambitious renovation and addition project was begun to make the building accessible and welcoming to all.

From a handful of believers in 2011 to over 250 baptized Christians in 2020, Hope Lutheran has been richly blessed by God to bless this community and our world. Ever keeping the Word of God before us and the Hope of Jesus in us, we seek to live our Mission Statement of “Sharing and showing the love of Christ to all through God’s grace”.
